Album was recorded in March, 2004. The time when Instant Movie Combinations branched off Indu Mezu. So, here you can hear a middle phase of separation. Music is still melodic, with redundant overdrive, but also with strong stillness, which in later IMC albums can turn you into a stone.
Crackles and Zvonok-Ring is one of many attempts to reflect the Castaneda’s episode, where Juan and Genaro were speaking to each Carlos’s ear independently, from both sides, causing a brain desynchronisation.
